Waiver and Consent
Please carefully review the terms and conditions below before completing your registration. By submitting your application, you confirm your acceptance of these terms.
1. Participation and Liability Waiver
Your participation in the International Karate Alliance (IKA), KyokushinRyu 2nd World Championships 2026 is entirely at your own risk. The organizers, officials, sponsors, and affiliated parties shall not be held liable for any injury, loss, damage, or claim arising from participation in the event, including travel to and from the venue.
2. Indemnity
You agree to release, indemnify, and hold harmless the organizers, officials, sponsors, and affiliates from any claims, damages, or liabilities resulting from your participation in the event.
3. Medical Fitness and Safety
By registering, you confirm that you are physically and medically fit to participate. You are responsible for disclosing any pre-existing medical conditions that may affect your safety or performance. The organizers reserve the right to refuse or withdraw participation if deemed necessary for health or safety reasons.
4. Image and Media Consent
By participating, you grant the organizers permission to capture, use, and distribute photographs, videos, or other media recordings taken during the event for official documentation and promotional purposes, including digital and print media, without compensation.
5. Code of Conduct
All participants are expected to uphold proper conduct, fairness, and sportsmanship. Any form of misconduct or violation of event rules may result in disqualification without refund. Participants must comply with all competition rules and decisions made by the officials and organizers.
6. Unforeseen Events
The organizers shall not be responsible for delays, changes, or cancellation of the event caused by circumstances beyond their control, including but not limited to natural disasters, extreme weather, public health concerns, or government regulations.
7. Refund Policy
Registration fees are non-refundable unless the event is canceled by the organizers. No refunds will be issued for voluntary withdrawal, disqualification, or failure to attend.
8. Capacity and Selection
Participation is subject to category capacity limits. If a category exceeds its maximum capacity, the organizers reserve the right to make selections to ensure fair and balanced representation. Any payments made for applications that cannot be accommodated will be fully refunded.
9. Event Adjustments
The organizers reserve the right to modify event details, including schedules, venue, categories, or format, as necessary. Any changes will be communicated through official channels.
10. Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising from participation in the event shall be resolved through mediation or arbitration in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
11. Privacy and Data Use
Personal information collected through registration will be used solely for event administration, accreditation, and official communication. All data will be handled in accordance with applicable data protection and privacy laws.
